Fishing Reports

The water is as high as we have ever seen it here at Reelfoot, but things here at the resort are fine. Just to give everyone an update other than some damage to our decks everything here is up and running. The weather looks to be fantastic for the rest of the week, and with the weather we have been having the crappie span has been pushed back and should occur in the next several days, so the fishing should be just as good.

With the weather being colder than normal, it looks like the spawn has been pushed back and should occur over the next couple of weeks. if you are looking for some great crappie fishing the first two weeks in May are looking ideal.

The weather report for the rest of this week and next is looking really good with temperatures in the mid 60's and very little chance of rain, so it should be a perfect time to come down and catch crappie.
