Fishing June 20, 2012

Catfishing is in full swing here at Reelfoot Lake right now. Bluegill are biting as well, but they are real tight on there beds and not biting unless you are right on top of them. Bass fishing has also been doing well over the last few weeks.

The bluegill have started bedding up and are starting to bite really well. The crappie are also starting to bite real well again now that they are i post spawn. The bass and the catfish are also biting really well, so if you are looking for a time to come to Reelfoot and catch a variety of fish, now would be a great tome to come.

Fishing March 19, 2012

We have had fantastic weather here at Reelfoot Lake with temperatures in the mid 70's and low 80's. The only thing better than the weather is the fishing, the crappie are biting great spider rigging out on the stump fields and bluegill and bass have started biting around the shoreline. With all of the warm weather we have been having the crappie have moved to beds earlier than usual, and have started spawning as of yesterday. Fishing February 28, 2012

With all the mild weather we have had here at the lake, the crappie are already biting fantastic. The weather also looks great this week with tempetures in the mid 50's and 60's.
