Fishing & Hunting Report November 3, 2009

Ducks poured into the lake yesterday, and the Reelfoot early duck hunt looks like it will be really good this year. Billy is out on the water right now and he says the fish are biteing. The weather here today is great, the wind is 5 to 10 out of the NE the sun is shineing, and the temperature is in the 60's. So if you are looking to get away this would be a great week to come to the lake.

The weather on the water today was fantastic, and it is going to be that way the rest of the week. The forcast is in the mid 60's and the sun is supposed to out the whole time. So if your wanting to fish or just relax it looks like a great week to be on the water.

Fishing Report September 16, 2009

The early Teal and Wood Duck hunt is going really well, and it looks like we will have pleanty of water in the lake this year for a fantastic hunting season. The crappie are also bitting really well right now and it only looks like it will get better with the cooler weather.

Fishing Report October 31, 2009

I would like to congratulate the winners of the one day Strike King Tourney at Blue Bank, the winners caught 22 pounds of healthy largemouth on a Spinnerbait!!!!! We also had our yearly media event with Strike King this week and i would like to thank the outdoor writers, SK Pro staff, and SK staff for their hard work and effort they put into this event. On another note the fishing hasn't been that great due to the unusal weather but next week looks great and it might be one of the last good weeks to go fishing this year. Duck season is right around the conner, and it looks like it will be one to remember their is pleanty of water in the lake, the crops on the refuage are fantastic, and the ducks are pouring in from up north. The Reelfoot two day season starts on Nov. 14th and 15th and the reagular season starts on Dec the 5th and runs for 58 straight days. With conditions like this reservations are filling up fast so if you are looking to come down for a great hunt give us a call.

Fishing Report July 29, 2009

This July has been one of the coolest ever, and with those cooler tempertures the bluegill fishing, They are still on beds and its almost August! Bass and crappie are even bitin like its september. The lake is also up so it is a perfect time to take a weekend getaway. "See you on the water"

P.S. Just to let everyone know our restaurant is now serving crappie again.
